Tour Tibet: Treasures from the Roof of the World, a beautiful exhibition of cultural objects from Tibet. Explore both the land and culture of the Himalayan people. Discover how Tibetan Monks create a sand mandala, an artful form of meditation and prayer for world peace. Dr. Dirk van Tuerenhout, the Museum’s Curator of Anthropology, will explain the significance of these wonderful artifacts and the cultures of this part of the world as he guides a behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum’s anthropological collections.
